As I sit in classrooms and observe the students, I can't help but wonder what I could have done differently if I had known at their age what I know now.
Teaching is a passion of mine. It offers me a unique opportunity to observe the many nuances of children in different environments. Some students are quiet and shy, yet incredibly attentive, stepping up to guide the substitute teacher through an unfamiliar day. Others are bursting with energy and would rather be anywhere but in a math book at 9:25 in the morning.
I often find myself reflecting on how I, just one person, can inspire these young minds to believe they can reach for the stars. I want them to know that they don’t have to spend their entire lives just striving for success—they can grab hold of their dreams right now, if only they believe.
While I don't have all the answers or a clear path to reach every single student, I am committed to making a difference. My mission is to help them see their potential and inspire them to aim high, no matter where they start.
